Billy Graham in one of his final messages used the biblical reference -The days of Noah. “The days of Noah are returning to the Earth and catastrophe as great and terrible awaits those who refuse to enter the Ark of salvation which is Jesus Christ.” In Noah’s day, corruption ruled the Earth. Many people mocked and poked fun of Noah as he built the Ark. In the book of Genesis it says, “The Earth also was corrupt before God and the Earth was filled with violence. So, God looked upon the Earth, and indeed it was corrupt for all flesh had corrupted the way of Earth.” Judgment day is simply God giving people over to themselves. Hell is essentially a state of being that we fashion for ourselves. This state is the final separation from God, which is the result not of God’s repudiation of man, but man’s repudiation of God. A repudiation that is eternal, precisely, because it has become, in itself, immovable.
